HYPREN^® CPE as plastics impact modifier

CPE is one of the most important impact modifiers for the plastics market. Comparing with other impact modifiers like AIM(Acrylic impact modifier), MBS and ABS, CPE is more competitive in comprehensive performances and price. Currently, CPE is acknowledged by customers and sharing more and more market.

Proper amount of HYPREN^® CPE is added into recipe of PVC, PE, PP or ABS plastics products will not only greatly enhance impact resistance but will largely improve low temperature performances, weatherability, welding strength and other performances.

HYPREN^® CPE is most suitable for substitution of Acrylic Impact modifier(AIM) or mixing with Acrylic impact modifier(AIM) with a certain percentage without changing the processing data and the recipe, resulting in an optimum performance/cost.

1. Impact modifier for rigid and semi-flexible products

HYPREN^® RESIN improves greatly the impact resistance, low temperature performances, weatherability, and welding strength of the final products.

2. Application in Flame Retardant ABS

Addition of certain percentage of HYPREN^® RESIN into flame retardant ABS formulation will not only avoid using of big amount of inorganic flame retardants in the formulation, which causes physical performance lost, but will play positive role in enhancing the flame retardancy of the whole system and substantially improve the impact strength of the end product. (TV set; Computer etc.)

3. Application in soft products

As a good elastomer, HYPREN^® RESIN can be used directly for soft products. The soft products produced have superior weatherability and long service life
